Indah Lilin means "beautiful candle" in Indonesian, which captures the essence of
what we strive to accomplish: To imbue your favorite space with the warm glow of soft
candle light and a light, fresh fragrance.
What began as a hobby for candle maker Cristine Nelson has become her passion and
mission -- to create an elegant scented soy candle. But the road wasn't easy, due to
the low quality of the various paraffins and scents that neither burn well nor smell
pleasant.
Years of research finally paid off in 2006, resulting in a candle we are proud to call our
own. Using only 100% domestically grown soy wax, high-quality fragrances and
lead-free wicks, Indah Lilin candles burn beautifully, refresh your atmosphere and are
sure to set any mood. These hand poured candles are made in small batches to insure
the best quality.
Our candles are inspired by the natural beauty of the world, and thus we do not add
color to our waxes, preferring instead the creamy, organic and soft appearance of soy.
